Discover the city

It’s easy to lose yourself between the sea and the iconic landmarks of Naples—
A city where history, beauty, and legend blend into every corner. Strolling along the seafront promenade, you’ll be captivated by the view of the legendary Castel dell’Ovo, rising from the sea beside the charming Borgo Marinari, with its waterfront cafés and laid-back atmosphere.

A few steps away, the majestic Piazza del Plebiscito opens up in all its grandeur, framed by historic buildings and vibrant city life. And no visit to Naples would be complete without admiring the Maschio Angioino, a medieval fortress that stands as a symbol of the city’s powerful past.

Here, every stone has a story to tell, and the mix of sea breeze, sunlight, and architectural wonder will make you feel as though you’ve stepped into another time.

Art & Culture

Art and culture are woven into every corner of Naples, but here are a few great starting points. The PAN – Palazzo delle Arti di Napoli regularly hosts major contemporary art exhibitions, while the National Archaeological Museum is one of the most important in the world for classical antiquity.

If you're passionate about history, don’t miss the chance to visit the many archaeological sites surrounding the city, including the famous ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Their remarkably preserved remains and timeless atmosphere are sure to leave you in awe.

For those looking to explore beyond Naples, we highly recommend excursions to the nearby islands of Capri, Ischia, and Procida. Their unforgettable landscapes and unique charm will leave a lasting impression.

And if you’re in the mood for something a little different, take a tour of the “Art Stations” along Metro Line 1—each station is a unique blend of architecture, color, and creativity. Don’t miss Toledo Station, often listed among the most beautiful in the world.

The Bourbon Tunnel

The Bourbon Tunnel (Galleria Borbonica) is an intricate network of underground passages, built in the 19th century during the reign of Ferdinand II of Bourbon. Originally designed as a secret escape route for the royal family, it connected the Royal Palace to the nearby military district.

During World War II, it served a very different purpose: it became a vital air-raid shelter for the local population. Thousands of citizens found refuge in its vast underground chambers, safe from the devastation above.

Today, the tunnel is open to the public and can be visited through guided tours. It offers a fascinating journey through centuries of history, from royal intrigue to wartime resilience, all hidden beneath the surface of Naples.

Shopping & Nightlife

Naples offers two main shopping areas, each with its own charm. Chiaia is known for its elegant boutiques and top fashion labels, while Via Toledo is the place to go for major international brands and high-street shopping.

When the sun goes down, head to Borgo Marinari or the Chiaia district—both are perfect for enjoying Naples’ vibrant nightlife. You’ll find a wide variety of restaurants, cozy pubs, lively wine bars, and characterful cocktail lounges, along with plenty of accommodation options, including hotels, B&Bs, and guesthouses.

A City to Remember... whether you're drawn by its history, its artistic spirit, the scent of the sea, or the energy of its streets, Naples is a city that stays with you long after you've left. It’s not just a destination—it’s an experience.
